The Sashastra Seema Bal guards India's borders with Nepal and Bhutan and reaches remote border areas of the country. It recruits directly for Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable, Driver, Staff Nurse and Pioneer posts through its dedicated recruitment portal, with advertisements and admit cards published there. General Duty Constable recruitment for SSB is conducted centrally by the Staff Selection Commission.
