02How it recruits
In plain words
RRCAT is a DAE unit at Indore engaged in non-nuclear frontline research including lasers, particle accelerators and related technologies, home to facilities such as the Indus synchrotron radiation sources. It recruits Scientific Officers largely through the BARC Training School OCES/DGFS route, along with periodic own drives for Scientific Assistant and Technician posts, advertised on its own website.
RRCAT recruits mainly through a candidate's score in a national test such as GATE or NET, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/C.
