VECC is a DAE research unit in Kolkata operating cyclotron and heavy-ion accelerator facilities for nuclear and accelerator physics research. It recruits Scientific Officers largely through the BARC Training School OCES/DGFS route, and separately engages Research Associates and Project Associates on temporary project positions tied to specific facilities such as the Radioactive Ion Beam project.
