Online Store Builder Deals: Start a Shop for Less

Study guide — Online Store Builder Deals: Start a Shop for Less
By Aniket Bhardwaj · 5 November 2026 · Discount Coupons — Guides

This guide shows you how to compare online store plans and judge a discount before you pay.

You will also get a simple method to work out the real cost over the full term.

In short: Do not compare the headline monthly price. Compare what you pay today, what you pay at renewal, and what is included. Use only offers that show a recent check date on the deals page.

What you are actually buying

An online store is a website where customers browse products, see prices and place orders. Unlike a physical shop, it does not close at night. To run one you need a place to keep the website files (called hosting), a web address (a domain), and tools to build the store pages.

Many hosting companies sell these together in one plan. That is why a "store builder deal" is usually a hosting plan that says ecommerce is available. The price you see is the price of that bundle, not of the store alone.

Before you look at any discount, write down what your shop needs. A person selling a few items from home needs less than someone planning several stores. Buying more than you need is the most common way shoppers overspend.

Read the offer the way a teacher reads a question paper

A good student reads the whole question before writing. Do the same with a plan page. Look for four things:

  1. Price today. Many plans show a low monthly figure, but you pay for the whole term at once.
  2. Term length. The lowest price is often tied to a long term. The plans below use 48 months.
  3. Renewal price. This is what you pay when the term ends. It is higher than the first price.
  4. What is included. Check the number of websites, storage, backups and whether a domain is free, and for how long.

A renewal price is simply the price charged when your plan is extended after the first term. Plan for it from day one.

A real comparison from one official page

On 5 November 2026, the official Hostinger plans page showed the figures below for a 48-month term. All four plans list ecommerce as available. Prices change often, so treat this as a worked example of how to read a page, not as a promise that the same price will stay.

PlanPay today (48 months)Renews at (per month)Websites
Single₹3,312₹2891
Premium₹6,672₹4493
Unlimited₹9,552₹649Unlimited
Cloud Startup₹28,752₹1,599Unlimited

The page also showed percentage discounts against a higher struck-out price: 83% on Single, 80% on Premium, 75% on Unlimited and 65% on Cloud Startup. Notice that the biggest discount sits on the smallest plan. A bigger percentage does not always mean a lower bill.

Notice also the gap between the first bill and the renewal rate. Single renews at ₹289 a month, and Cloud Startup at ₹1,599 a month. The renewal rate is the number to keep if you plan to run your shop for years.

Worked example: the Premium plan

Step 1. The page says you pay ₹6,672 today for 48 months. That works out to ₹139 per month (6,672 ÷ 48 = 139).

Step 2. The renewal is ₹449 per month for the same term. If you renew for another 48 months, that is 449 × 48 = ₹21,552.

Step 3. The second term costs ₹14,880 more than the first (21,552 − 6,672).

What this tells you: The discount is real, but it applies to the first term. If you plan to stay for years, budget for the renewal price and not only the first bill.

Do the same sum for any plan you are considering. It takes a few minutes and removes most surprises.

What the plan includes matters as much as the price

Two plans at similar prices can give very different value. On the same page, Single includes 1 website and 10 GB of SSD storage, while Premium includes 3 websites and 20 GB of SSD storage. Unlimited moves to 50 GB of NVMe storage. Cloud Startup lists 100 GB of NVMe storage.

Backups also differ. Single and Premium list free weekly backups. Unlimited lists daily backups with easy data restore. Cloud Startup lists daily and on-demand backups. If your shop will take orders every day, ask yourself how much recent data you can afford to lose, and pick the plan accordingly.

A few terms, explained:

The page lists a free domain on Single and a domain free for 1 year on the higher plans. A domain is your shop's web address. Note the words "for 1 year". After that year, you pay for it. Add this to your yearly cost.

The page also shows a 30-day money-back guarantee and says you can cancel anytime. Read the exact refund terms at checkout before relying on them.

How to use verified offers on this site

Coupon pages often list old codes that no longer work. This site follows a simple rule: a check date appears on a deal only when the link has been confirmed. Here is how to use that:

  1. Open the Latest Deals page and look for the Hostinger listing under the hosting category.
  2. Check that a recent check date is shown. If there is no date, do not treat the offer as confirmed.
  3. Use the partner link from that listing. Do not type in a code from a forum or a video description.
  4. On the plan page, match the plan, term and price against your notes before paying.
  5. Take a screenshot of the checkout total. It helps if you need to raise a query later.

Compare the plans yourself before you buy. A verified link tells you the offer page works. It does not tell you which plan suits your shop.

A short checklist before you pay

If you may move to a bigger plan later, ask a simple question: is it cheaper to start small and upgrade, or to buy the larger plan now? Check the upgrade terms on the plan page before you decide.

Key takeaways

  • Compare the amount you pay today, the renewal price and the inclusions, not just the monthly figure.
  • Multiply the monthly price by the number of months to see the real bill.
  • A free domain may be free for only the first year.
  • Use a deal only if it shows a recent check date.
  • Buy the plan your shop needs now, not the one with the biggest percentage off.

Frequently asked questions

Is the monthly price shown the amount I pay each month?

Not on the plans in this example. The page showed a monthly figure but also said you pay for the full 48 months today. For Single, that was ₹3,312 in one payment.

Will the discounted price stay the same when I renew?

No. The page listed a higher renewal price for each plan. Single renewed at ₹289 per month, against ₹69 at the start. Always read the renewal line.

Do all these plans support an online store?

The page lists ecommerce as available on all four plans in the table. Check the plan details at checkout to confirm that it covers what your shop needs.

How do I know an offer on this site is current?

A check date appears only when the link has been confirmed. If a listing has no date, treat it as unconfirmed and compare the price on the official plan page.

Is this financial advice?

No. This is a guide to reading plan pages. Choose a plan that fits your own budget and needs.
