Thus, x is even and hence n = 1 + x is odd. Also, n = 1 + m (m + 3) (m + 1) (m + 2) = 1 + (m2 + 3m) (m2 + 3m + 2) ⇒ n = 1 + y (y + 2), where m2 + 3m = y ⇒ n = 1 + y2 + 2y = (1 + y)2, which is a perfect square. Hence, I and III are true.
