Explanation
Let the cost of 1 dozen apples be $₹ x$ and that of 1 dozen bananas be ₹ $y$. Then, $$\begin{aligned} & 2 x+3 y=136 \\ & 10 y=220 \quad \ldots(i i) \end{aligned}$$ Subtracting (i) from (ii), we get: $7 y=84$ or $y=12$.
