Distance travelled on foot $=\left[\frac{7}{2}-\left(\frac{5}{3}+\frac{7}{6}\right)\right] \mathrm{km}$ $$=\left(\frac{7}{2}-\frac{17}{6}\right) \mathrm{km}=\frac{2}{3} \mathrm{km} .$$ $$\therefore \quad \text { Required fraction }=\frac{(2 / 3)}{(7 / 2)}=\left(\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{2}{7}\right)=\frac{4}{21} .$$
