(a)₹ 12.50
(b)₹ 13.50
(c)₹ 14.50
(d)₹ 15.50
(e)None of these
Answer
Answer (as printed): B
Explanation
Let the required price per kg be ₹ $x$. Then, C.P. of 60 kg rice $=₹(30 \times 17.50+30 \times x)=₹(525+30 x)$. S.P. of 60 kg rice $=₹(60 \times 18.60)=₹ 1116$. $\therefore \frac{1116-(525+30 x)}{525+30 x} \times 100=20 \Leftrightarrow \frac{591-30 x}{525+30 x}=\frac{1}{5}$
