Palmistry

Palmistry / Hast Rekha

Read the language of the hand — lines, mounts, fingers and signs, explained as traditional interpretation rather than prediction.

How this page works

This page explains palmistry (Hast Rekha) as traditional interpretation, not prediction: the four main lines — life, head, heart and fate — the mounts, the fingers and thumb, and special signs on the palm, in English and Hindi. It makes no claims about lifespan or health.

What you enter: nothing to read the knowledge sections. To read your own hand, answer the page's questions about what you see on your palm; the reading is built from your answers.

Worked example: the heart line runs across the upper palm below the fingers and the head line runs across the middle; tradition reads the first for emotional life and the second for the way a person thinks. A long, clear head line is traditionally read as steady concentration — a description of a tendency, not a forecast.

Which hand should be read?

Traditionally the dominant hand (the one you write with) is read for the life you are actively making, and the non-dominant hand for inherited tendencies. Do not assume the right hand is dominant — ask.

Self-observation

Answer a few plain questions about what you can actually see on your own palm.

Sit in good daylight, let the hand relax, and look at the palm you are answering for. Skip anything you cannot see clearly — “Not sure” is a real answer here, and leaving a question blank is better than a guess.

Palmistry / Hast Rekha is a traditional belief-based interpretive practice intended for educational and reflective purposes. Palm readings are not scientifically validated predictions and must not be treated as medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
