02How it recruits
In plain words
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by CBSE twice a year to determine eligibility for appointment as a teacher for Classes I to VIII in schools under the central government (KVS, NVS, central schools of UTs) and any other school that chooses to accept the CTET score. Passing CTET is a minimum qualifying requirement, not a recruitment or vacancy-linked exam by itself; separate recruiting bodies then hire against their own vacancies.
CTET recruits mainly through a written competitive examination. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group B/C.
