02How it recruits

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) conducts the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET), the state qualifying exam for Level 1 (Classes I-V) and Level 2 (Classes VI-VIII) teaching posts. Passing REET is a minimum eligibility requirement; actual recruitment against vacant teacher posts (REET Mains-linked recruitment) is separately conducted by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB).

REET recruits mainly through a written competitive examination. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group C.
