Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited operating refineries at Manali and Cauvery Basin (Nagapattinam) in Tamil Nadu, under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It recruits Executive Trainees in engineering disciplines through GATE-based or its own written selection followed by interview, and fills non-executive technician posts through periodic recruitment drives, along with apprentices engaged at its refineries.

CPCL recruits mainly through a candidate's score in a national test such as GATE or NET, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/C/apprentice.
