Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET)

Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) is a recruitment route conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BTET). It is listed here in the Teaching category of the 4ab.in government job directory. It is used to recruit for 2 recruiting bodies recorded here: BTET, WBTET. Recorded posts include Eligibility for appointment as teacher, Classes I-V and VI-VIII, in Bihar government primary/upper-primary schools. The entry qualification recorded here is Graduate. It is held on an irregular schedule, as vacancies arise, rather than a fixed annual cycle. BSEB also separately conducts STET (Secondary TET) for Classes IX-XII; both are qualifying tests, not recruitment itself. See the official notification linked on each recruiting body's own page for exact dates, fees and eligibility criteria — nothing on this page substitutes for it, and this directory takes no application on any body's behalf.
