The Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM) is DRDO's centralised recruitment and training-management wing, conducting a common all-India Computer Based Test to fill Senior Technical Assistant (STA-B) and Technician posts across DRDO's more than 50 laboratories under a single notification (e.g. CEPTAM-11), so recruitment is not duplicated lab-by-lab. Scientist-level entry into DRDO runs separately through the Recruitment & Assessment Centre via GATE/NET and direct advertisement, cross-listed under Science & Research.
