02How it recruits

In plain words

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), a Central University specialising in open and distance learning, recruits its own academic faculty and non-teaching staff (Assistant Registrar, Junior Assistant cum Typist and others) through notifications published on its own website, with written tests/interviews per post; some large non-teaching recruitments have been conducted via NTA.

IGNOU recruits mainly through a written examination followed by an interview, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.

Entry qualifications recorded: Post-graduate PhD

Government recruitment never charges a placement fee. Apply only on the official website linked here. 4ab.in is an information directory, not a government site — see the disclaimer. If you were asked to pay for a government job offer, an interview call or a medical test, it is a scam: do not pay, and report it here.
