How this page works
These readings are not fixed template text. Each one is put together from the day's actual sidereal positions of the planets as they transit (gochar) over each of the twelve Moon signs, with daily, weekly and monthly views. Vedic horoscopes are read from the Moon sign (rashi), not the Western Sun sign, so find your rashi first if you do not know it.
What you enter: nothing for the general reading — just select your rashi from Aries (Mesha) to Pisces (Meena). For a personalised reading, generate a kundli first; the page can then read the transits against your own chart.
Worked example: Sade Sati is the best-known transit. Saturn spends about two and a half years in each sign, and Sade Sati is the roughly seven-and-a-half-year stretch while Saturn passes through the sign before your Moon sign, the Moon sign itself and the sign after it. A horoscope here names such transits for your rashi instead of giving the same text to everyone.
