02How it recruits
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission recruits for civil, group and technical services under the Government of Andhra Pradesh through graded competitive examinations — Group I for Deputy Collector, DSP and other Group A posts, and Group II/III for executive and non-executive posts — plus periodic technical service exams. Candidates apply after a One-Time Registration (OTPR) on the commission's portal. APPSC is headquartered in Vijayawada.
APPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
