02How it recruits
The Haryana Public Service Commission is the constitutional body that recruits for the Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) and other Group A and B posts through its annual Combined Competitive Examination, held in Prelims-Mains-Interview stages. It also conducts separate direct-recruitment examinations for Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Teacher, Scientist, Assistant Engineer, Sub-Divisional Officer and similar departmental posts as vacancies are requisitioned by the Government of Haryana. HPSC is headquartered at Panchkula.
HPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
