02How it recruits
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission conducts the annual State Service Examination (SSE) for Deputy Collector, DSP, State Tax Officer and other Group A and B civil posts under the Government of Madhya Pradesh, through Prelims, Mains and Interview stages. It also holds separate direct-recruitment examinations for Medical Officer, Assistant Professor, Assistant Engineer and other departmental posts on requisition. MPPSC is headquartered in Indore rather than the state capital Bhopal.
MPPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
