02How it recruits
The Bihar Public Service Commission conducts the annual Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) to recruit Sub-Divisional Officers, Deputy Superintendents of Police, State Tax Assistant Commissioners and other Group A and B civil service posts for the Government of Bihar, through a Prelims-Mains-Interview process. BPSC also runs separate direct-recruitment drives for technical and departmental posts as requisitioned. It is headquartered in Patna and applications are submitted through its dedicated BPSC Online portal.
BPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
