The Department/Commissionerate of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), the qualifying exam for teaching posts in Classes I to VIII. Applications and results are handled through the state's shared APCFSS examination portal. APTET is a minimum eligibility requirement; actual recruitment against vacancies is done separately (e.g. via DSC/AP state teacher recruitment).
