02How it recruits
The Gujarat Public Service Commission conducts the Combined Competitive Examination for Class 1 and Class 2 posts such as Deputy Collector and Deputy Superintendent of Police under the Government of Gujarat, along with separate direct-recruitment drives for Assistant Engineer, Fire Officer, Clinical Psychologist and other technical posts. Applications are submitted through the OJAS online portal. GPSC is headquartered in Gandhinagar; this entry is distinct from GSSSB, the state's subordinate-services board.
