02How it recruits
The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission conducts the State Service Examination (SSE) for Deputy Collector, DSP and other Group A and B state posts, held in Prelims-Mains-Interview stages, and separately runs direct-recruitment examinations for departmental posts such as Assistant Director and Project Officer (Child Development) as requisitioned. CGPSC is headquartered at Atal Nagar (Nava Raipur).
CGPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
