02How it recruits
The Goa Public Service Commission recruits candidates for the Goa Civil Service and other Group A, B and C posts of the state government — including Medical Officer, Public Prosecutor, Technical Officer, Superintendent, Statistical Officer and Engineer — through standardised examinations and interviews, advertised individually as departments requisition vacancies. GPSC is headquartered at EDC House, Panaji.
GPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
