02How it recruits
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission conducts the Jharkhand Civil Services Examination for Deputy Collector, DSP and other Group A and B posts of the Government of Jharkhand, in Prelims-Mains-Interview stages, and separately recruits for Forest Range Officer, Food Analyst, non-teaching university posts and other departmental vacancies through direct-recruitment advertisements. JPSC is headquartered at Ahirtoli, Ranchi.
JPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
