02How it recruits
The Meghalaya Public Service Commission, established in 1972, conducts written examinations and interviews for recruitment to various Group A, B and C posts under the Government of Meghalaya as individual vacancies are advertised, rather than through one fixed annual civil-services exam. Applications are accepted only online, with examinations conducted mainly at Shillong and Tura. MPSC is headquartered in Shillong.
MPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
