02How it recruits
The Nagaland Public Service Commission, established in 1965, recruits for the Nagaland Civil Service (NCS) and allied Group A and B posts through its Combined Competitive Examination, and separately conducts the Combined Education Service Examination (CESE) for PGT, Lecturer and Assistant Professor posts. Minimum entry age for its examinations is 21 years, with maximum age varying by post and category. NPSC is headquartered at the New Capital Complex, Kohima.
NPSC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
