02How it recruits
The Public Service Commission, West Bengal recruits for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) and allied Group A and B posts through the West Bengal Civil Service Examination (WBCS), conducted in Preliminary, Main and Interview stages, and separately holds direct-recruitment examinations for posts such as Food Sub-Inspector and departmental Group B/C vacancies.
